Live with other nursing students at Hewett Hall

Floor 13 of Hewett Hall is a residence lifestyle floor for nursing students. Residents of this Themed Living-Learning Community (TLLC) will receive individualized attention from College of Nursing faculty and staff and can take part in specialized activities and programs. It's a great way to make friends early in your major and get involved with nursing-related activities.

The community offers many opportunities for academic and social interaction.

  • Introduction to the Student Nurses Association with opportunities to apply for early membership.
  • Programming to enhance your discovery of the diverse field of Nursing.
  • Study sessions for Nursing classes.
  • Social activities that support professional growth, diversity awareness and build camaraderie among the residency.
  • Scheduled social and academic interactions with College of Nursing faculty and staff outside of the classroom.
  • Networking opportunities with professionals and alumni who are currently pursuing careers in Nursing.

How to live on the nursing floor

As space allows, any freshman and sophomore who is a current Nursing major may elect to live in this community. Students can select their room on their regular web registration date.
