Empower Program

Effective Mentorship Program Organized to support the Well-being of diverse students, Encourage community, and Reinforce equity and inclusion. The Empower program provides Mennonite College of Nursing students with community and belonging through mentorship, academic support, wellness activities, resources, and events.

Requirements for the Empower Program

For this program to be successful, we need active engagement from students.  Here is an overview of the requirements.

  1. Attend 2 events per semester
  2. Attend 2 peer tutoring sessions, study buddy sessions, or faculty office hours per semester
  3. Optional: Request a graduate student or faculty member to be your mentor for the academic year

Students engaged in the program will receive graduation cords.
