Mennonite College of Nursing’s online RN to BSN program provides the flexibility of an online program while still offering the service and resources associated with being on-campus. Academic Advising is available to all online RN to BSN students, and will:
Assist in the navigation of Illinois State degree requirements
Assist students in making major and course decisions
Refer students to appropriate resources
Provide an encouraging and supportive environment for students to share their goals, concerns, and interests
We encourage all students to schedule appointments with your advisor when necessary.
Prior to every early registration period RN to BSN students will receive an e-mail from their assigned MCN academic advisor. These e-mails will contain detailed information about registration and one's approved plan of study. A deviation from the approved plan of study established upon admission into the sequence requires prior approval from the advisor. Fall class schedules will be reviewed in February. Spring or summer schedules will be reviewed in September.
The prompt payment of parking fines and library fines before early registration as well as remaining current with clinical health requirements will prevent the hassle of getting blocked from registration.
