College Research Resources

MCN provides comprehensive support for research active faculty and staff to engage in scholarship that makes a difference in health outcomes locally and globally. Internal grant competition and awards for faculty and students as well as support for external grant submissions are available. We encourage expert focused consulting and editorial support for manuscripts and grant submissions.

College Research Awards

Meridean Maas Mentorship Award

Dr. Meridean Maas Faculty Research Mentor Award is to recognizes a Mennonite College of Nursing colleague who goes above and beyond, helping students acquire the skills and resources necessary to succeed as professional nurses. See MCN Teams site under College Research Committee for details.

Outstanding College Researcher Award

The Outstanding College Researcher Award recognizes a Mennonite College of Nursing colleague who demonstrates a consistent record of scholarly productivity, significant contributions to his/her discipline, and a research/scholarship record considered outstanding in comparison to his/her colleagues in the college and consistent with the record of previous Outstanding Researcher award recipients. Early Career Research Award

The Early Career Research Award recognizes Mennonite College of Nursing faculty members who have initiated a promising research agenda early in their academic careers. See MCN Teams site under College Research Committee for details.
