Biography

Dr. Liang Fu is an Assistant Professor at the Mennonite College of Nursing, Illinois State University. His research focuses on improving the well-being of individuals with cancer and their caregivers through supportive care, implementation science, and evidence-based nursing. He integrates metabolomics into personalized nutrition and symptom management, particularly for patients with gastric cancer. Dr. Fu is an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the Midwest Nursing Research Society.

Dr. Liang Fu’s research focuses on improving the well-being of people with cancer and their caregivers through supportive care, implementation science, and evidence-based nursing. He also explores how biological insights, such as metabolomics, can enhance nutrition and symptom management for patients with gastric cancer, helping bridge scientific discovery and everyday clinical practice.
