Traditional BSN Plan of Study

All nursing students will be given a prescribed plan of study upon entering the major. Below is an example plan that a student might receive. Courses in bold have a clinical component.

Freshman Year

Exempt from one Natural Science in General Education

To remain in the major, nursing students must earn an overall GPA of 2.50 or higher on at least 24 completed hours and obtain a “C” or better in prerequisite courses.
