Mennonite College of Nursing is proud to offer dual enrollment for nursing students working on their associate's degree in nursing at one of our strategic partner colleges.
The dual enrollment program allows students in an Associate in Applied Science in Nursing program to begin work on their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at Illinois State, taking courses in both programs at the same time.
The Institute of Medicine set the goal of an 80% BSN-prepared nursing workforce by 2020. Dual enrollment positions partner school nursing graduates ahead of their peers while searching for jobs and prepares them to continue on to a master’s degree or other areas of advanced practice nursing.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job opportunities for registered nurses are expected to increase by 26 percent over the course of this decade.
Take the next step.
