Hartford Institute of Geriatric Nursing Research Scholar Fellowship
The Hartford Institute of Geriatric Nursing Research Scholar Fellowship provides funding to attend the Annual Summer Scholars program at the Hartford Institute of Geriatric Nursing, a part of New York University. This program is open to doctorally prepared nurses, physicians, social workers, occupational and physical therapists, pharmacists, and other health care professionals. Tenure Track Faculty members with a research agenda on geriatric nursing are eligible to apply. Funding is $2500 for Registration, Travel, and Lodging.
Requirements
- Identify a specific topic for a research grant proposal.
- Identify possible funding mechanisms.
- Develop the specific aims section for a research grant.
- Develop a 2-5 page proposal that includes specific aims, rationale, and timeline for grant submission.
- Submit proposal to the Associate Dean for Research by April 1, 2019.
Proposal Review
- The Associate Dean for Research will review proposal.
- The Associate Dean for Research will make a funding recommendation to the Dean’s Council.
- The Associate Dean for Research will notify faculty member regarding proposal funding by April 15, 2019.
