Mennonite College of Nursing's Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program prepares you with the skills necessary to serve as clinical and/or administrative leaders in healthcare systems. Our doctoral program focuses on practice that is innovative, evidence-based and reflective of the application of credible research findings.

The DNP Clinical Residency combines clinical experiences with scholarly activities to provide in-depth learning for students and opportunities for meaningful engagement with experts from nursing, as well as other disciplines.

*The doctor of nursing practice program consists of 34 semester hours beyond the master’s degree in nursing and is designed so that a student will be able to complete the DNP degree in seven semesters of part-time study. All students must successfully complete a scholarly project and the required dissemination endeavors. Students must complete a minimum of 1,000 clinical hours post-baccalaureate degree. The DNP program is a part-time post-master’s online program with annual on-campus intensive workshops.
