Catherine Miller joined Mennonite College of Nursing in July of 2010 as associate dean for academics, served as the interim dean July 2014 through June 2016 returning to the associate dean role in July 2016. Miller earned her Ed.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and M.S.N. from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Miller previously held the position of associate dean of health and human services at Heartland Community College. She serves on the Illinois Board for Nursing for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation as vice-chair. She has worked in leadership roles for several health care systems and schools of nursing. Miller has been active in professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels. She has received several professional honors, including District 6 Nurse of the Year in 2000.
