Dr. Wilson serves as Professor, FNP Sequence Leader, and DNP Program Leader. She has 37 years of undergraduate and graduate teaching experience. Past administrative experience has included serving as dean of academic affairs and graduate program director. She has received over $4.1 million in grant funding as PI and/or writer. She is licensed as an advanced practice nurse and is nationally certified as a family and gerontological nurse practitioner and is a certified diabetes educator. She maintains her clinical expertise through clinical practice in an internal medicine practice.
