About

Biography

Kim Buck joined Mennonite College of Nursing as an Instructional Assistant Professor. Mrs. Buck received her M.S.N. from University of Illinois-Chicago, her B.S.N. from Graceland College School of Nursing, and her A.A. in nursing from Parkland College. Her research interest is pedagogic and skill outcomes in teaching nursing with Clinical Simulation. She taught part time at Parkland College for the last 13 years and part-time at Mennonite College of Nursing and Heartland Community College for the last several years. She was the Assistant Director of Nurses and Care plan Coordinator at LeRoy Manor and served as a critical care nurse at BroMenn Medical Center for ten years.

Teaching Interest

Kim Buck is teaching Health Assessment in the online RN-BSN program at MCN. She teaches the Adult 1,2 & 3 clinicals and has served as Support Faculty in the Nursing Simulation Lab.
